Are you struggling with weight loss, relationship problems, physical pain, overwhelming emotions? Then Face Yoga is for you.

Face Yoga can help you distance yourself from the struggles you are currently in and find new solutions. It can help you to get grounded, get a clear head and a new vision.

When you are facing a seemingly unsolvable issue, it becomes a black hole which sucks up endless energy and gives you sleepless nights.

Did you ever feel like your thoughts are circling the same problem again and again?
You are preoccupied with trying to find a solution, looking for a way out, but the longer you look, the more you feel as if the walls are closing in on you. There is no perspective, no fresh ideas but an endless tunnel of darkness obscuring your vision.

You start getting headaches, feel lethargic, lose your appetite or overeat, clench your teeth, your skin looks dull and is itchy, and the kilos are piling on. In the morning you can’t find the energy to get up, and when you pass a mirror, you don’t like what you see.

Now, wait a moment. Let’s go back to where it started.

As long as the icy hand of worry has a grip on you, nothing can change. You are stressed. Your system runs on overload twenty-four hours, seven days a week. Stress is like a sticky, black substance slowly creeping into every cell of your body and eating away your resources.

Stress is the enemy of a new vision and perspective.

Solutions are available already; we only have to open our eyes to see them or reach out with our hands to feel them. A teacher of mine said once there are no new ideas, they all already exist. They are buzzing around in the universe, and suddenly there is this moment when we connect with one of these ideas or thoughts. When I first heard that I loved that picture. I am sure all of us have had those moments, but we didn’t give it any attention or didn’t have the right mindset because we were too busy. Our mind was preoccupied with our daily life and didn’t allow for that precious thought or idea to penetrate deeper.

To be able to step out of your circle of worries, you need to take a deep breath. You need to interrupt what you do and stop, and precisely that is what we don’t allow ourselves to do.

Is it, fear to lose, fear to be alone, fear never to manage the magnitude of tasks waiting for us, fear not to have enough, fear to miss out, fear to drown in our emotions, fear not to be loved, fear that once you stop you die?

The list goes on.

It is crucial to create a distance between you and the problem on hand. If you can’t see the entire picture of what is going on, then it is difficult to see a solution. Sometimes it is a matter of giving it time for new aspects to reveal themselves. Other times, it is essential to look at it from further away.

There are many different ways to achieve this, but here are a few simple ones you can do at any time. These micro-breaks will change your routine and will allow your mind and body to find new ways.

The very first thing is to stop even if it is for one minute. Only if you stop, you can open your eyes, your mind and heart and see what is already in front of you.

Face Yoga is all about that. It is about taking a moment for yourself to relax, breathe and rejuvenate. It is for your outer beauty but also your inner wellbeing. Face yoga not only helps you to lift your face and look younger, but it also resets your entire system so that new impulses can come in and give your fresh ideas to what you want in your life.

It connects you with your innermost core from where your life energy stream emerges.

Here are eight suggestions to take your first baby steps to tackle your challenges. All these suggestions help you to de-stress, allowing you to get new perspectives:

o Close your eyes for a minute or two and feel your feet on the ground, relax your shoulders and breathe. You can do this anywhere at any time.

o If your mind is on overdrive, stop what you do and massage your entire skull. Remember to open your mouth slightly. You are allowed to moan if you like. It is an exercise we do many times during the Face Yoga to relax the muscles on the skull.

o If your eyes and mind feel strained, palm your eyes. Rub your palms until they are warm, lean your elbows on a table and cup your eyes. Hold it for at least three minutes.

o If you can’t solve a problem on hand, walk away, leave the place and take a 10-20 min break.

o If you notice that you clench your teeth do the Big-O Face Yoga pose.

o If you feel down, stand up, lift your chin so that it is horizontal and walk. Notice the way you feel. You can experiment with it by walking through the town.

o If you wake up in the night, switch on the light and write down what kept you awake. It might be a to-do list or a list of tasks or list of things you no longer want to have in your life. Once it is on the paper, you have permission to sleep. It will be there the next day if you need it.

o If you feel lonely, join the Face Yoga community. It is a group where you can feel safe and will be supported in your journey to a new you.
