Mouth & Cheek Face Yoga Workshop

This workshop targets nasolabial fold and marionette lines. Nasolabial folds extend from both sides of your nose to the corners of your mouth. Marionette lines are facial wrinkles that run vertically between your mouth and chin.

Already in your twenties, you may notice short lines running from each side of your nose even when you are not smiling. As we age, our cheeks sag, and this can result in extra fat and excess skin on our cheeks. Weak cheek muscles, tension around the chin and nose and unwanted habits make these lines more prominent.

Eye & Forehead Face Yoga Workshop

Would you like to have bigger, less droopy and brilliant eyes or want to smooth your forehead?

The Eye Area  & Forehead workshop targets wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes, frown lines, droopy eyelids, puffiness, under-eye bags, crows feet and asymmetry.

We will look at unwanted habits and how they cause expression lines. The first step is to become aware of these unwanted habits. The second step is to learn how to stop the habits, isolate your muscle activity and reduce the expression lines.

The primary muscle which covers your forehead continues to the back of your head. Therefore, it is not surprising that tension in this muscle can cause headaches, neck pain and more.

As part of the classes, you will learn, amongst other poses, how to relax the forehead and neck muscles through massage, acupressure points and breathing techniques. This is followed by face yoga poses to smooth your forehead and lift the eye area.

These exercises might help to prevent or reduce recurring headaches and puffiness in your face. Additionally, they might promote hair growth.

Neck & Jawline Face Yoga Workshop

This is the Face Yoga workshop which will show the fastest results. Because the muscles around the neck are large, you will see changes very quickly.

This Workshop targets double chin and saggy necks, weak neck muscles and uneven jawlines.

It is important to consider the shoulders and back when looking at the neck and jawline. We will start by correcting your body posture by opening your chest and upper back to create a solid foundation to realign your neck and entire spine. This is followed by Face Yoga poses to stretch and strengthen your neck muscles and tighten and shape your jawline to prevent and reduce double chin and saggy neck.

Some poses for the neck and jawline involve tongue movement. It might take you a moment to feel at ease to use your tongue, but it has two significant benefits. It will intensify the stretch on the neck, and it creates salvia, which helps digestion.

The Face Yoga poses for the jaw and neck area engage all major muscle of the upper spine, which can have a positive effect on long-standing neck issues.

Balance your jaw – balance your body, in this half-day workshop you will learn how to reduce tension around your jaw (TMJ).

It is important to consider your body posture when resetting your jaw. We will start by correcting the position of your feet, hip, spine and shoulder to re-align your body and build a solid foundation. This is followed by a combination of a gentle yet profound energy balancing technique and physical poses focused on the jaw, temples, face and neck.

After the stress reduction, the TMJ can find its way back to its structural-energetic balance and its normal function.

Balancing the jaw muscles has a far-reaching impact on such symptoms as a migraine, earache, sinus infections, teeth clenching and grinding, Tinnitus, insomnia, neck tension and pain, facial asymmetry and discomfort after major dental work.

Eye Area & Vision Improvement Workshop

The eye workshop targets wrinkles and puffiness around the eyes, crows feet, droopy eyelids, asymmetry and tired eyes.
We will use muscle exercises and acupressure points to increase blood circulation, remove toxins, smooth wrinkles and tone the eye area.

Small muscles inside the eyes make it possible to focus. Like any other muscle in the body, they can get tired and tense. You might have noticed that when a muscle in your body tightens, it can’t work efficiently and causes pain and discomfort. That is also true for the eye muscles. If these muscles are not stretched and relaxed, they lose their flexibility, making it harder for the eyes to focus.

During the course, I will show, amongst other Face Yoga poses, exercises to activate right/ left coordination for vision, improve mobility and strengthen the eye muscles to rejuvenate tired eyes and improve eyesight.
